Emotional Health and Wellbeing with Hillingdon Adult Learning in 2017-18


Around one quarter of British adults, experience mental health issues at some point in their lives, 1 in 4. Anxiety, sleeplessness and depression are the most common disorders and even if they don’t it is important to maintain good wellbeing.

After 2 successful years involved in the MHFE research project Learn to be Well, we are going to continue the offer of many more free courses during 2017-18.

There will be a range of free courses on offer in 3 key areas:

- Confidence Building and Self Help

- Family Support  and

- Life Style to adults 19+ experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues.

We are committed to addressing social disadvantage and increasing social mobility and welcome all residents in Hillingdon to attend our free Community Learning courses, developing confidence, promoting good well being, making new friends, offering advice on progression choices and sustaining mental health recovery.
